Thirteen VS Adrian Mole

In Adrian Mole, the main topic is the relationship between his parents and eating disorders that Adrian has because of this situation.

In Thirteen, in return, the main topic are bad influences, addictions, drugs, sex, popularity and the divorce of her parents.

 

TRACY'S CHARACTER EVOLVES

Tracy uses drugs, cuts herself and is sexually promiscuous because she because nobody tells her what to do, she has to know that is good or bad her. But, her mum could have helped more, should have been more worried about her daughter.

 

Evie isn't a good role model to Tracy because Evie teaches her bad things. Adrian Mole could be a victim of Evie but luckily he doesn't have friends as these. The difference between them is the personality, Tracy is more influenced than Adrian. Everybody, a stage of life, can go through a similar situation like this, well, or not so strong. But, none of my friends have been through this.

 

''If you are not that way, you are nothing'' This sentence could be Tracy's because she wanted to follow Evie. For this reason Tracy thought that Evie was the best.

 

''The beauty is truth'' Tracy isn't a fashion victim, she wants to pretend it this for effect.

 

''What's the problem'' (says Tracy's father). This sentence shows that Tracy's father is absent in the life of his daughter and he does nothing.

 

Is this film shocking? ''What was the most shocking for you?'' This film is shocking because there are strong situations. The most shocking for me is when Tracy cuts herself when she is sad.
