Final reflection

Today is the last day of batxillerat, after of this we will do selectivitat and we will make important decisions. That's why I do my final resolution about these last two years.

To begin, I show my first post on this blog: an email (http://albapevienglish.blogspot.com.es/2012/10/e-mail.html) which we had to do to introduce us to Lourdes's teacher. I recognize I had to learn many things at that time but I think that my English was correct. 

Another thing to remark is the best post that I have done while I have worked on the blog. Especially, I will bring out a post of this year because in the last year's resolution I remarked a first batxillerat's post. Moreover, in my opinion there is an improvement. In my view if one thing you really like, you will write very well about it and that's what happened to me.

Apart from this, what I have liked of blog has been to express your feelings in yoursay's posts and the same time you can practice English, above all grammar and vocabulary. For this reason, I give a tip to future students who will do blog: manage time to do blog with calm and not with stress.

  

Falling in love

Nowadays, teenagers, above all people around eighteen years old, are more mature than younger generations because we have more experience in feelings.

One of these feelings is to be in love. In general, we have the view that love always brings us happiness, for example: we are more happy, we give and receive love, we have the confidence that other person will always be with us. In short, we always have a reason to go on.

However, not everything is positive: love has a lot of troubles. Firstly, the other person can distract us of our way. Secondly, it could be that one in the couple depends on the other member and this fact can decrease your selfsteem.

To sum up, we need to know our feelings and have them clear so as not to destroy us. If we can do this, we can enjoy the most beautiful feeling.

News: Rania Alayed case, 'Westernised' wife 'murdered by husband'

The trial about the murdered of a mother by her husband follows steps to continue. In husband's view, Ahmed Al-Khatib, this happened because she was possessed of a spirit; it reflects the westernised type that he has, in fact, he denies the murder but he doesn't deny to be the cause with his shove.

Although that the Rania Alayed's body hasn't been found, Ahmed Al-Khatib's brothers accepted that they drove the body to North Yorkshire. As a result of many mysteries, the trial hasn't closed yet. 

In my opinion, what has happened is very ridiculous and frustrating because at the time that we are these things shouldn't happen, well, should never happen!!! Besides, these types of murderers are unaware of what they do, and this fact is the most dangerous.

Dear Mr Rajoy,

I write to you to remark a violation about Human Rights which we have. As you know, everybody have right to be protected without exceptions and if this does not occur, we are violated.

Clarifying this, I wanted to refer to a right: No torture. There are a lot of cases of battered women who feel unprotected and for this reason they have fear to declare their situations. We have to be aware that these women exist and to do something for them, as happens in less developed countries.      

To sum up, I hope that you take into account this and battered women.

News: Bullying is 'impacting' school grades of victims

Because of bullying, many students, aged between thirteen and eighteen, can't give good results in school, therefore, their GCSE grades drop. A lot of these students often hurt self-harm and attempt to kill them because they can't have more threats.

As a result of this, the Department of Education said there will be a strengthening of teachers and, in particular, develop strategies to tackle problems. 

Personally, I think the Department of Education has done good to create this solution and, in this manner, encourage students with self-esteem. In fact, this problem has always been in our society and now it seems that is given importance.

News: Smartphone overuse may 'damage' eyes, say opticians

Many professionals, as opticians, warn of long-term damage caused by overuse from computers, phones, televisions... All these devices have a blue violet light that is hazardous and toxic for our eyes, although it's good to help regulate biological clock. In fact, many surveys diagnose that we have certain dependence to these devices and this induces a lot of problems. 

Above all, my view is that we are very connected to technologies and for this reason, as expected, there are many problems nowadays related with our vision or nervousness. In short, we should control us more and not depend so much on devices.

Summer expectations

I think this summer will be one of the best because I will close a stage in my life, quite hard, and I will start another. The next year I will meet many people, I will be in my place and I will know as far as I can get. 

This summer, apart from summer work, I will get the car license because the last year I didn't have enough time for many reasons and in 2 of batxillerat I have been a little stressed. 

Another thing that I want to do is to go every day to the beach, even a little bit; the last year I just went two times as a result of much work!!! But, in fact, I can't complain much because I have swimming pool in my house. 

Finally, I want to enjoy with my people and do all things which I couldn't do the last year, without stress of school.
